Overview

Imah Djoglo offers a unique Sundanese dining experience nestled in the heart of Bandung, at Jl. Sumber Endah No.31 23A, Babakan Ciparay. This restaurant blends authentic flavors with a rustic, farm-inspired atmosphere, making it a standout choice for families and lovers of traditional Indonesian cuisine.

The menu showcases a variety of classic Sundanese dishes, with highlights such as Nasi Liwet Ayam Bakar, Gurame Bakar, and Sate Taichan Djoglo. Signature items like Cimplung and the flavorful Tahu Cabe Garam reflect the region’s culinary heritage, while desserts like the refreshing Grass Jelly Ice Cream Green Tea add a modern twist. Portions here tend to be generous, making it ideal for group dining or family gatherings.

One of Imah Djoglo’s defining features is its spacious environment thoughtfully designed for children and families. Beyond the dining area, there is a dedicated kids’ play zone that allows little ones to run freely. Add to that a mini animal exhibit featuring rabbits, goats, ducks, and other small creatures, creating a lively, farm-like setting that enhances the overall experience. This blend of a casual, interactive space with traditional food offers more than just a meal; it invites guests to linger, relax, and connect with nature.

While the service receives praise for being attentive and friendly, some visitors note that the ambiance could lean deeper into Sundanese tradition by incorporating local music or décor to complement the cuisine. That said, the atmosphere remains welcoming and comfortable, suitable for casual lunches or family celebrations.

For those seeking an authentic taste of West Java, combined with a warm, engaging environment, Imah Djoglo offers a compelling option. Whether you come for the Nasi Liwet or to unwind amidst playful children and gentle animals, the restaurant strikes a balance between cultural authenticity and inviting hospitality.

Good restaurant with children space for playing, and there are some mini zoo to visit, such as rabbits, goats, ducks, etc. The children space is good too and the foods are Sundanese food, it has very good taste. If you want more traditional, you can request for "LESEHAN" to get better circumference when you visit. The price is not so pricy, still okay. Recommended for taking lunch in here, thank you...

Bala bala are the most delicious . The fried gurame has not well cooked. Gepuk, karedok, nasi liwet is good. Sambal (chilly sauce not hot enough). Vegetable is very fresh

For Sundanese restaurant, this one has a quite generous portion. We're a group of 9 people (some of us are a big eater), we ordered a food package for 10 people, and we're all so full. Plus, the Taiwan Dessert is so yummy and refreshing! The service is 100/100 even though the tables are full, the waiters are very friendly and helpful. They even help us to take a photo on the garden. The atmosphere is not so Sundanese though, I think it could be improved by redesigning the interior or maybe just by playing a different song (when we were there, they play western pop songs). There's also some animals on display if you're an animal lover or bringing a kids there, I recommend you to see it. Animals are mostly birds, ducks, chicken. But there's also little goat, rabbit, bat. Not too much though, it's not a zoo anyway

If you want to hold a family gathering, this place would be good. The food are delicious and affordable. There are places for kids running and playing around, but I think the zoo is a bit dirty.. :( I hope the owner takes a good care of the animal.

I was absolutely thrilled when I arrived at this place. I couldn't believe my eyes - the farm + restaurant concept was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. The food was absolutely delicious, and the nasi liwet dish was a particular highlight. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Sundanese cuisine and is also an animal lover.

This is is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Food is nice and more importantly, there is a lot of entertainment for the kids. There is a playground and a mini zoo, with quite a good variety of animals. Kids can also feed the animals with carrots and the fish with pellets. Can easily spend 3-4 hours there.

A hidden gem in Bandung. Inside a housing area, we will never expect there is a resto (complete with mini zoo) in here. The food is okay. The atmosphere is nice with Sundanese instrumental. But if possible, you should come 5 or more, or below 3 person. I came total 4 people and being forced to use small table eventhough the big tables are empty. The small table for 4 people is too small, at least for me.

Pro : good service, taste, mini zoo Cons : price, sambal Price : 4/5 (a little bit higher for sundanese food) Taste : 4/5 Cleanliness : 4.5/5 Tips : in my opinion, the food is good, tasty. One thing that a minus point is his “sambal”. It makes their food felt not too sundanese. Overall, it’s one of recommended sundanese resto in Bandung. If you bring your children, they must be happy to see mini zoo. Always follow my reviews, it's trusted and objective
